Rockstar's GTA 6 collector's box is $399.99, one per person
Rockstar announced a Grand Theft Auto VI collector’s box on its Newswire on 24 September 2026. It is called Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection, it costs $399.99, and the Rockstar Store lists it as available to ship from 19 November, the day the game launches.
The box holds eleven items themed on Macca the Gator, a fictional Leonida television show. Among them are a figure of Macca with a stash compartment in the base, Oakley Frogskins sunglasses with Prizm Sapphire lenses, a New Era 9FORTY A-Frame snapback, a crossbody bag, a shot glass, a nine-piece enamel pin set, a sticker pack and a double-sided poster with a map of Leonida on the back. The box measures 19 by 13.5 by 12.5 inches. Rockstar states plainly on the product page that the game itself is not in it: “Grand Theft Auto VI game sold separately.”
Two restrictions are worth knowing now rather than in November. The store’s own FAQ says “Limited to 1 purchase per person. Purchase requires log-in to the Rockstar Store.” The page also states that the box “is not eligible for free shipping”, so the shipping cost lands at checkout on top of the $399.99.
Most of the world cannot order it yet
Rockstar’s announcement closes by saying details are still to come on how to pre-order “across Asia, Latin America, and Australia”. The store’s published shipping list names 23 territories, being the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and nineteen EEA countries, and nothing else. If you live outside that list, there is currently no way to place the order at all.
New Zealand is in neither list. The announcement does not mention it, and the store does not ship there.
What is not known
Rockstar says the box is “currently only available in limited quantities” and publishes no number and no pre-order deadline. The “while supplies last” in the announcement headline appears nowhere on the store page, and neither page says how long pre-orders stay open.
The store also publishes nothing about when a pre-order is charged. Cancelling is possible, though not from the Rockstar Store itself. The FAQ sends you to Xsolla, Rockstar’s fulfilment partner and merchant of record, with your order number and the email you ordered from.
One thing to weigh at this price. Rockstar’s refund policy gives physical purchases a refund “if the item you ordered was not received”, and an exchange or a refund if what arrives is damaged or defective. There is no general change-of-mind return. Buyers in the EEA and the UK have a separate 14-day right of withdrawal, and Rockstar notes that they pay the return shipping themselves.
