Take-Two's earnings call lands 10 days before GTA 6
Take-Two Interactive said on 13 October 2026 that it will report its second quarter results “after the market close on Monday, November 9, 2026”, followed by a conference call “at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time”. Take-Two owns Rockstar Games, and 9 November falls ten days before Grand Theft Auto VI ships on 19 November.
The advisory itself is a single page and it is worth being precise about what is on it. It names the quarter, the date, the time, a dial-in number and a listen-only webcast, and that is all. Grand Theft Auto VI is not mentioned. Neither is Rockstar Games, outside the boilerplate paragraph describing what Take-Two owns. Nothing in the release says that anybody will discuss the game, and no agenda has been published.
The quarter being reported closed before any of this. Take-Two’s own wording is that the period “ended September 30, 2026”, which is seven weeks before launch day, so these figures are a report on the three months before Grand Theft Auto VI went on sale rather than a measure of how it is selling. The first results that could say anything about the game’s own performance come a quarter later, and Take-Two has not yet given a date for those.
What the announcement does is add a sixth date to a launch window that was already crowded. Pre-loads open on 12 November at local midnight, and that is also when boxed copies, which carry a download code rather than a disc, start arriving. The game unlocks on 19 November, the same day Rockstar’s collector’s box ships. The physical soundtrack album follows on 20 November. Now the earnings call sits on 9 November, three days ahead of the first of them. Our editions and pre-order guide keeps all of those dates in one place.
This is the company’s ordinary quarterly schedule rather than anything arranged around the launch. The previous set of results, for fiscal first quarter 2027, was published on 7 August 2026. An earnings date is a calendar entry and nothing more, and anyone reading a delay, a sales figure or a platform announcement into it is reading something that is not there.
