Rockstar has announced GTA 6: The Album, and the in-game radio is still to come

Correction, 8 October 2026. This piece said the in-game radio had not been detailed at all and that Rockstar had named no station, frequency or host. On 8 October Rockstar named six stations. The affected passages are marked below.

Rockstar announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album on its Newswire on 17 September 2026. It is a 34-track official soundtrack album made in partnership with Atlantic Records, releasing on 19 November, the same day as the game. Six singles went out alongside the announcement.

Rockstar lists the six this way:

  • Yung Lean, “That’s It” (feat. Future & Metro Boomin)
  • Travis Scott, “RHYNO” (produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo)
  • CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.. & Etienne de Crécy, “Sexy Magic”
  • Morgan Wallen, “Last Thing You Need”
  • Rauw Alejandro, “Macacoa 2000”
  • Keith Richards, “Bright Lights, Big City”

The album is on pre-save at the streaming services and on pre-order on vinyl and CD, with different disc colourways at different retailers. Apple Music and Spotify both carry it as a 34-song album dated 19 November.

The album is not the radio

That distinction is Rockstar’s own, and it is the last line of the announcement: “Stay tuned for more details about the music of Grand Theft Auto VI, including the dynamic score, the next evolution of in-game radio, and more.”

So the announcement covers one of three things. The score had not been detailed when this was written, and on 15 October 2026 Rockstar named Justice as its composers alongside the launch trailer. The radio had not been detailed at all when this was written, and on 8 October 2026 Rockstar named six stations, the voices on each and one dial position. Our news post on the six stations covers that. It has still not said how many stations there are, and it has published no station playlist, so a full GTA 6 station list is still fan-compiled.

Rockstar also calls these “34 original tracks”, which is a different product from a radio playlist. It is the shape the company used for Red Dead Redemption 2, where an Original Soundtrack and an Original Score were announced as two separate albums with a label partner, each with its own singles.

What is still unknown

Twenty-eight of the 34 tracks have not been named, and neither have their artists. Rockstar has not said whether any of the six singles will also play on a station in the game. There is no published track list.

We said we would post any station announcement on the day it landed, and we did: the six stations were named and written up on 8 October. The album track list is still outstanding.
